Ah, spring is here. The season of flowers, showers, outdoor drinking, and al fresco dining. So before the heatwave sends us all running for the shade, check out this week’s Atlanta events for your Southern acting community

Update your Aspect Photo. Hollywood-style profile pictures are available all day May 10 at Atlantic Station thanks to The Headshot Truck, a professional quality headshot studio on the go. Session packages are available but pre-registration is required. (Prices vary)

Revamp your look with Carson Kressley. The Emmy-winning “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” alum will visit the SCAD Atlanta campus Wednesday, May 10 to talk about his new book, “Does This Book Make My Butt Look Big? A Cheeky Guide to Feeling Sexier in Your Own Skin and Unleashing Your Personal Style.” The event is free and open to the public but a ticket is required in advance. (Free)

Say hi to your Williams Street neighbors. On May 11,Williams Street (Adult Swim) kicks off the Rick & Morty’s Don't Even Trip Road Trip in Little Five Points. As the home of the adult-themed animation network, it makes sense that Atlanta would also host the first stop of the Rickmobile. (Free)

Get Lit with Shakespeare. Sure, Bill celebrated his birthday two weeks ago, but there is absolutely no reason you can't still celebrate the Bard this weekend. Watch talented thespians perform “A Midsummer Night's Dream” while getting lit at the Village Theatre on May 20 + 27. (Tickets: $15)

Light up the spring night. Decatur natives invite us to usher in the summer season with the Decatur Lantern Festival. Held at 9 p.m. Friday, BYOL (bring your own lantern) or attend a workshop earlier in the evening to help make your very own. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. (Free)

Catch a Broadway Musical. Broadway’s touring production of “Finding Neverland” comes to the Fox Theatre on May 16. The tale of Peter Pan is directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus, so take the second star to your right and go straight on til' morning and get your tickets now. (Tickets: $30-125)
